Another good player from the SW4A (seems like they keep coming) is Andy Holcomb from Prov. Great right handed hitter. Good speed on the bases and in the field, can play center or INF for almost any SoCon team...

Andy had a GREAT fall season for the O's in center field, hitting leadoff

Add to the list Wes Skidmore who had a spectaular fall at catcher for the O's. He has a top work ethic, hit extremely well, has reduced his pop time, improved his mechanics behind the plate, on & on. Of the 06 catchers in charlotte, he'll make some coach happy. Since his transfer from Catholic to S meck, I'm sure bags is smiling ear to ear.

didn't know which thread to post this under,,, so i chose both.
just letting you know that Tyler Manring West Forsyth 06 just signed with Montreat College.

also Greg Holt West Forsyth 07 just verbally committed to UNC.
congrats to both guys and their families. 2 hard working guys that play pretty well.

Brian Dice, catcher Fred T. Foard, 4 year starter on both varsity and hickory legion. Ben Lilly, pitcher/infield, also at Fred T. Foard, lead hickory legion in hitting last year i think. Do not have stats on these two, maybe Red Bear can help with that if he would be so kind.

Sorry, strike 3, can't help much on the stats. But, Brian Dice will be a great find for someone! He is a very solid catcher with great POP time. He's also one of the hardest workers I've seen in the weight room - really takes care of his body. He's tough as nails behind the plate and very quick. Needs work at the plate, but has good power.

Ben Lilly did have an outstanding Legion season last summer. Not sure where besides the mound he will be playing this spring. He prefers OF, but will play 3rd if the situation calls for it. Given the right college situation, he could be a two way guy. No bigger heart around!

Ryan Semeniuk and Shane Small of Providence HS. Both have been talking to schools but neither has committed to anyone.

Shane Small is a 6' 6" lefty with good stuff. We can all use someone like that.

Ryan Semeniuk is a 6' 6" outfielder with speed and a great bat. Don't have any stat's on these guys, but they will find a home by this summer.

Charlotte Christian has 5 players who have committed/signed... Jared Bard(UNC) Tyler Kirkpatrick(Western Carolina) Bryant Gaines(UNC) Max Fulginiti(High Point) Charles Bradley(Harding University). They have Mason McVerry(catcher) Kurt Fulginiti(corner) and many other players who have yet to commit. Seeing where these players will go will be interesting...
