    The news about Austin Alexander deserves its own thread. All I know is what was in the snippy little posting on the website. Can anyone share with the board what went down? I think AA is a straight up guy and a great baseball guy. I can't imagine what happened to justify what was put on the website . Somebody spill the beans!

    Someone with a little PR experience must have spoken with Andy. I don't believe you air your dirty laundry in public and to me at least, that announcement seemed very personal.

    So I take Braves' post to mean AA has taken a coaching gig somewhere. If so, great for him, but it still does not excuse posting it on the website in the fashion that it was. I would say an apology is in order.

    i don't disagree with that...it certainly caught my attention, but from what i know (which is very little), it was a mutual understanding

    If this was a mutual parting of the ways, "dismissed" seems like a strange way to announce it.

    It seems Austin and Partin had some differences of opinion about things as partners sometimes do. Too bad it got aired out in public a little bit. Word has it Austin is going back home to South Carolina and start his own version of Impact, which will make for some interesting match-ups in the future between the two states' best prospect teams.
