    I try to keep up with some of the players that have come out of the Morganton area and find no mention of Wesley Williams from TC Roberson on the UVA baseball web pages. He was/is a VERY good baseball player.

    Is he still there?

    I believe Wesley had a foot injury, he may be red shirting.

    Thanks. I had not heard and he isn't on the roster. He is a pleasure to watch though.

    He's a great kid and I'm sure he'll be fine. A lot of talent, swings the bat well. My son played with him when they were 11 & 12 yrs. old.

    Wes did have a foot injury this fall, but I don't know if he was red shirted. I'll find out and let you know.

    I watched the UVA/UNC game last night and wondered about Wes. Any news yet?

    He's not listed on the 2006 roster for UVA.

    A parent I know had talked to his Dad and was told that Wesley had surgery on his leg/foot/ankle?? in the Fall and Virginia released him from his scholarship. He is now playing somewhere in Florida near Tampa.
