John Graham...Montreat College

    John is a Sr. LHP/1B at Montreat College. He throws in the low 90's.

    John is interested in the next level and has attend some major league tryouts but hasn't heard from any scouts. Can anyone take a look at John this year and maybe guide him in the right direction.

    Mlbscout is with the Tampa Devil Rays...perhaps we can get him to give us some feedback on what he has seen, heard or can do.

    But a lefty that throw 90's, it's hard to believe that he has been inundated with scouts

    I've known John since he was at AL Brown HS in Kannapolis. I saw him pitch at Spartanburg Methodist College and at Montreat. John has always been an 82-85 mph guy for me. That's not to say he couldn't become an 85-90 guy. If he's in that range this spring, I'm betting he'll get some looks.

    Getting the low 90's from mom....lol....thanks for the response..keep him in mind...

    John has the tools to get to the next level,,,, size, speed and power. In fact, because he's such a great hitter with power, am curious to see if he gets "looks" from the next level as a pitcher or an outfielder.
