    Example!

JUCO standout as a freshman if in my old age I can still remember perhaps five or six offers to leave after my first year YET chose to stay out of loyalty and respect for my college coach who taught me so much about the game...As a sophomore not as stellar a year NOW only two offers... Chose to go to the smaller MORE expensive school for I knew i would play AND reap the bene's of smaller class sizes with faculty who teach not GA's! so frankly been on both sides of the proverbial eight ball---GO WITH YOUR HEART it is your life and your decision as well as Mom's I guess of course...:twocents:

    just my experience!!!

First: Pick where you want to go to school first. Visit and make sure you will like the enviroment and educational options.

Second: If baseball is your desire great but it should be your second consideration. Things can change a lot over a year in a program. Great time to go watch the team play and see how the coach and player respond during game situations. Watch how the coach and players interact during different times of a game.

Third but really first: Never compromise your integrity!!! There are lots of people who beleive they are doing things right but not doing the right thing. Many choose not to understand the difference.

Good luck with making one of your first big life decision!

The only reason to wait is ego. Nothing wrong with aspiring to play on the largest stage, but there is a pricetag attached...It's called playing time. D1 is cutthroat at the highest level.

I say take the heartfelt offer & start 4 years...get your education...& be happy. Happiness is the operative word. No regrets, not discontentment, not what ifs...Just be happy & enjoy the ride.

    Again

often a young man or ladies future is in the hands of someone else which is usually always the case when it comes to scholarships and playing ball. Known and conversed with great coaches with great character and then others which were horrendous and very very sad! As for TO I don t ever advise a timeout unless it is needed!!!! :10_6_4:
