Louisburg This Weekend

    Playing Hiwassee CC but both games yesterday were cancelled.

    Both games today were used to get all of our guys (especially pitchers) some work before heading down to Florida which is this coming week.

    Won the first game 6-4. Leading in the second game 6-0 last I heard.

    Local TBR guy (Morgan Tyson) pitched two innings facing #1-#7. Struck out 4 allowing no hits, walks, or runs.

    Louisburg wins the 2nd game 18-2. Good start for the season. Got a lot of guys some innings and got the wins!

    when are they going to update their roster. wandering how cameron ohl is doing and if he made the spring roster. please let me know if you have any answers. thanks

    yeah i knew he was on the fall roster. is this their spring roster also??? thanks for your help

    Well, we did better in Florida than last year. Last year, we went 0-4 getting blown out 4 times and still won the Region X championship. This year, we went 1-3 with a blowout victory over Young Harris, close losses to Wallace State and Chipola, and a blowout loss to Chipola. This tourny is hard to judge for Louisburg (as last year proved) because we had only played 2 games so far and the other schools had played ~10 or so games. Still, a better showing than last year and Florida in Feb. is very nice!!!
