    AFTER HEARING NEWS REPORTS ABOUT THIS I CHECKED IT OUT WAS AMAZED AT HOW MANY LOCAL SOFTBALL PLAYERS WERE ON THIS-NOT AT ALL PLEASED WITH WHAT I SAW-SURE LOOKS LIKE DRINKING ALCOHOL IS A LOT BIGGER PROBLEM THAN I THOUGHT

    If parents only knew what was on their kids myspace.com site. I have gone there to see what my kid & her friends had on there & it was just unreal what some kids have on there.

    RELATED TO SOFTBALL BY SEEING GIRLS THAT PLAY ON GREAT TEAMS ON THERE SHOWING REAL STUPIDITY BY SHOWING HOW MUCH THEY CAN DRINK AND WHAT THEY CAN SHOW-NOT COOL AT ALL

    Colleges and MySpace

    On a serious note about kids posting on MySpace, last week ABC World News mentioned that some college admissions people are using posts on MySpace to determine which kids get admitted to colleges and also to decide which kids get the scholarships/money. This is also where College Coaches visit to get a better view of the athlete he/she is recruiting. I spoke to a high school guidance counselor and she confirmed that this is happening by more and more colleges and universities. As a parent, I believe it's our responsibility to see what our kids have posted there.
