Don't forget to include AC Reynolds in that group. Lost only 1 Senior in Burton, but brings back both pitchers that are two of the top in the conference along with Alexanders, South's, and Watauga's. If they get some offense to go with that pitching, they're going to be very tough. They beat TC Roberson yesterday 3-2. Being closer to that area than me, you probably know more about them than I do CF.

Ac Reynolds offense looked good in the scrimmage Saturday.
Erin Grier hit one over the fence. Salem Bombace looked really good on the mound.

    Erwin/Owen Weekend Scrimmage

Everyone looked good Saturday, it was really hard to see any dominating team they all played with Varsity and JV.
Madison was impressive with Laurel Gregg on the mound.
Erwin young again but more expierenced. Brooke R hit her first high school career home run (3 run) over the fence.
Enka looked good Sarah is still going strong.
Owen will be one to contend with this year, Shelby really strong on the mound.
Didn't get to watch East Henderson they played Erwin's JV team (we are still learning and can see improvement each day)
West Henderson only played 2 games didn't see either one of those and Polk Co. seemed to have given everyone a good scrimmage.
Overall a good day at the Ball Field!

Erwin opens Season today with Pisgah @ home

Anyone see the East Rutherford lady Cavaliers? I was wondering how "red" pitched and if the hitting is still there with several big hitters ie. heather burns) gone.

leslie did well and had nice movement on the ball and freshman, LHP Laura Hopper pitched wonderfully for her first ever HS game.

surprisely they hit the ball well in most of the scrimmage games and not to mention Porcshe Street hitting a HR and nearly had another one against St Stephens.

Enka looks good again-strong pitching and solid infield.
All the teams played with JV and Varsity intermingled so it was interesting.
Freshmen Jordan West and Kirsten Burleson hit homers for Enka.
Laurel Gregg and Rebekah Huff did a great job for Madison.
Rebekah has to be one of the best third base players in the area.
Reynolds looked really good-they should do well in their conference.
