Gotta give West Stanly props,,,, so far they're 4-0 on the early season and they've beaten Kannapolis, Concord, Charlotte Christian and now Northwest Cabarrus by a combined 24-5 score.

    Olympic's tough schedule

Olympic has been humbled this year so far, they have only 3 or 4 senior and a gruelling out of conference schedule. This will make it tough if they do not win their confence (Queen City 3A/4A). The freshman starting pitcher's name is Corey Roberts #20.

    Piedmont 7 Mt. Pleasant 0

The big news in this game was Rob Lyerly threw a complete game no-hitter. I think he threw somewhere in the 75 pitch range with only 15 balls. Piedmonts hits were scattered as the wind was blowing straight in and cold all night. Congratulations to Rob on an impressive outing. Piedmont next plays Forest Hills tomorrow night at home.
