Being one of the tiger faithful, I think RB's purpose for the thread was to make sure all avenues for dealing with the problems and issues were explored and that maybe just maybe someone might suggest something that was overlooked. You say "ASK", it has and is being asked, so far to the coach, principal and even a short " off the record" conversation with school board chairman. So time may tell if it does any good by asking. As far as the other option you suggested in your last paragraph, i think you need to be more knowledgeable of the problems and the school before you imply that someones son and his teammates have baseball short-commings. For your info this team has tons of talent, with 7 or 8 of the players having played major showcase ball last fall ( ie. dirtbags, copperheads, and others) so other coaches and programs know what the kids can do with the right environment and coaching. SO DON'T knock the kids for short-commings when it is the adults that are creating the problems for the kids. And yes we are probably complaining about some things on here, but i think everyone is just real frustrated and looking for help and ideas. We all would rather see a baseball "bashed" and not our school.

I really think RB's purpose for this thread was to stir the pot and nothing else!

    It's over

In response to LHHS97, if the pot got stirred, than so be it , I thought that the situation was over after a parent meeting. It seems as though LHHS97 was not at that meeting. The situation is over. The policy was discussed and only the inside facilities are the issue with the board. The outside unlocked facilities were never a problem except with the school. The situation was handled at the meeting. The boys are fine. Hopefully, from here on out, everyone can put this behind them and play ball. It is time to move on. The meeting went very well and was handled very professional.

Obviously the situation was not over after the parent meeting for some people.

We certainly can have disagreements....but let's keep them respectful. That's what makes this board different
