    Providence 10 Hopewell 0

Providence JV Baseball team defeats a strong Hopewell team today by the score of 10-0 in five innings. Alex Wood pitched 4 strong innings allowing 2 hits and Richie Shaffer retired all 3 batters in the 5th to close it out. Will Helms continued his hot streak knocking in the first run for the Panthers with a double and Tim Ogden launced a grand slam to dead centerfield to put the game out of reach. The JV's record moves to 4-0 with key games next week at South Meck and at home against Independence

Very quick JV game especially since it was 10-0. I believe the time on this game was less than 1 hour and 45 min.

    South Caldwell JV

I think the South Caldwell JV is 5-0, so far. I am not sure how they did against Ashbrook JV, though.

South has lost at least one to St. Stephens JV. They are decent, but not as good as last year's squad.
