    TEAM--123 456 7 R H E
    MC----744 000 1 16 15 1
    PER---001 640 1 12 16 7

    WP - Mike Frongello
LP - Hunter Wrenn (1-1) .1 IP, 7 runs 1 ER, 2 Hits... [3 errors made behind him]

    Leading Hitters:

    MC-- Landon Adams (3-5, 2B, 3 RBI), MIchael Caddell (2-5, 2B, 3 runs), Devo McKernic (3-4, 2 SB)

    PER - Jeremy Peed (3-5, HR, RBI), Jerrod moore(3-5, 2B, 2 RBI), Aaron Campbell (2-4, HR, RBI), Doug Weaver (2-4, 2B, 3 RBI), Craig Reid (2-5, 2B, RBI), Robbie Byrd (1-2, 2 BB, 2B, 2 RBI), Colton Watson (1-3), Dustin Reaves (1-5)

Really ugly early on, 7 errors in the first 2 innings, but the kids really battled back from a 15-0 deficit, when they could have folded. I am proud of the way we battled back, I am shellshocked by the E's, which are unacceptable.

Middle Creek is a solid team, a team to look out for!

    West Stanly No-Hitter

West Stanly defeated Forest Hills 6-0 on Tuesday, 3/28. Tyler Almond threw a NO-HITTER. He struck-out 14 batters. West played good defense behind him with a Derek Jeter type catch by shortstop Matthew Burleson in the 7th to keep the no-no alive. Quantavias Sturdivant (D-I football prospect) hit a 2-rbi triple in the top of the 7th for some cushioning.

West moves to 11-0 overall, and 4-0 in the RRC.

    Lumberton 4 Pine Forest 3

Pirates battled back after GIVING away three runs in the top of the first. Lumberton now is somehow alone atop the Two Rivers at 4-0. This is a team that lost eight starters from last year and starts two sophs and a frosh on the infield and really took its lumps early against Scotland and Pinecrest.

    WP- Mac Read 7 IP 5 H 3 R 0 ER 2 BB 12 Ks
    LP - McLeod 7 IP 6 H 4 R 1 ER

    Lumberton - Emanuel 2-3 (2B), Ransom 2-2 (2B) Pittman 1-3 (2B) 2 RBI
