    East Rowan-9 over South Rowan-1

Cy Young pitches complete game 1-hitter to lead East to 6-0 conference record in CPC.

So, who will East pitch against Davie Thursday night? I don't think they can beat Davie, if Davie plays like they have been playing. East really needs to loose before they get to far ahead of everyone.

    PROVIDENCE 9 Weddington 7

    WP: Shane Small (P)
    LP: Nick Fogleman (W)

Wild one at the OK Corral. PHS took a 9-3 lead into the bottom of the 7th. Weddington plated 4 runs and had the tying runs on base w two outs. Erik Sommerville came in to close the door, but not before a Weddington batter hit a screaming meemie in the gap that David Schism ran down for the 3rd and final out!!

PHS was led Offensively by David Mailman 2-4, HR, 5 RBis; David Scism 2-4; & Andy Holcomb 1-3, HR. WEDDINGTON was led by Joe Mangum 1-3, HR, 2 RBIs; Zach Winchester 2-3; and Chase Searcey 1-3, HR, 2 RBIs.

    PHS is now 12-2, 4-1 SW4A.

Craige Lyerly got hit on his pitching hand during his last outing and had to come off the mound. If he's healthy, he'll give Davie all they want. It will be a big blow to East if Lyerly misses some starts. Should be a great game Thursday night, good luck to both teams.

    West/South Stanly

South Stanly defeats West Stanly 3-1. Tyler Almond takes the loss for West Stanly, Russell Brewer picks up the win for South Stanly. I believe McIntyre is the kid's name that hit a two run homer in the bottom of the 7th to win it for South Stanly. They play again on the 11th at West Stanly (Oakboro). South Stanly takes the lead in the RRC as they are undefeated in conference play.

Sloppy non-conference game for the Rockets, but a win nonetheless.
