    TC Roberson 11, Tuscola 0 (6 Innings)

    WP - Josh Thrailkill (4-2) 6 IP, 0 ER, 2 H, 2BB's, 8 K's

Roberson's pitching staff has only allowed 1 ER in conference play and this was their third consectutive shutout.

    TCR - Jonathan Wright 2-3, 2B, 2 RBI's, John Ramsey 2-3, HR (3), RBI, Josh Thrailkill 2-3, HR (2), 4 RBI's

This was a difficult game for both teams as they honored Tuscola's fallen star, David Sherrill, before and after the game.

    TCR 9-3 (5-1)
    Tuscola 9-4 (4-2)

This was the most "hyped" match-up in the RRC in 4-5 years. 300+ fans in attendance at South Stanly. South was on a 10 or 11 game winning streak coming into the game, and their ace Russel Brewer (6-0...w/ a perfect game earlier in the year; committed to Vanderbilt) was on the mound against WS's 2005 RRC Player of the Year (as a junior) Tyler Almond. West Stanly out-hit South, getting 10 hits off Brewer, and loaded the bases twice, but were unable to push across more than one run. Almond gave up only 3 hits, and struckout 9...just one mistake pitch for the homerun in the 7th as he reached the 100+ pitch range. WS left 13 runners on base. It was a tough loss for the Colts, with both teams giving their all out on the field. Neither team deserved to lose, but congratulations to South Stanly. Great game, and should be a great re-match this Tuesday at West Stanly.

Late Wednesday: Hopewell 8 Myers Park 5

    Pitchers:
Adam Waters started and went 6 innings. He allowed 5 hits, 3 walks and Struck out 6. Michael Vaughn came in to close out the 7th and got 2 of the outs himself with K's. Another good showing by the Titan Pitching Staff.

    Hitters:
Chris Sharp stayed hot and along with Michael Vaughn went 2/3 (Mike's 1st at bat was a 2 run HR), Matt Cochran and Matt Futrell both went 1/2. Wes Dozier used his speed to score the first run on a wild pitch. The Titans showed some good eyes at the plate drawing 8 walks, 4 of which turned into runs.

    Wilmington Ashley 5 Lumberton 4

Another tough game between these two teams. Lumberton ralled back from an early 4-1 deficit to tie it at 4-4 heading into the last inning. Ashley got a huge two out RBI double to take the lead, then brought in ace Hunter Ford to close the deal three up three down.

    WP - Lott?
    save - Ford
    LP - Tre Britt 2-4

LH - Zack Pittman went yard for Lumberton and if you have ever seen Lumberton's field you know it wasn't cheap.

    Ragsdale...... 170 010 0 - 9 11 0
    SE Guilford.... 002 000 0 - 2 6 2
WP - Catlin Carter (3-0) LP - Cam Cockman (2-2)

Ragsdale goes to 13-1 on the season and 6-1 in conference heading into Spring break. Coming up is a three game tournament with Eastern Guilfrod, Southern Guilford and NE Guilford.

Ragsdale's bats seem to have come alive posting back to back 11 hit games. Looks like they took that loss to Randleman personal
