Regarding the comment "no talent" ...Better look at the sophmores down to eighth grade talent in the county.
Bet a coach with any vision sees that crop as contenders!:229031_ha

Why are we worried about were Monte will be next year the season isn't over. I think Monte might just stay where he is. Why leave a top program like Central. They are number 1 and might still be number 1 next year. So why would you want to step down from that.

Hey karolinablew, you are right about the 8th graders in AC. You might could look as far down as 2nd grade. May be early, but they are playing more and more travel ball. Getting quality exposure to skills of the game. I like what see for several years.

    thanks and you're right

this is the last year for my 18u team, i'm seriously thinking about taking a 10u team and starting over. worked the first time, would hate to waste everything i've learned as a coach. if it weren't for the travel ball players, most hs teams would be just rec ball ( hey, i said most!!!)

    coaching

Cheeze105, not sure who you are, but I know if you know the skills of the game and you do not have a child on the team, you should COACH. I understand that if it were not for daddy, we would not have teams. But the best training comes when daddy can get out of the way. I work with my kids team along with 5 other dads, but we also have help from others that is priceless. And another thing, this ain't BASEBALL. Don't mean to get off course. Just a thought and trying to encourage good coaching.
