Ryan Graeppel. Another strong stick and fine defensive SS.

Yep that's him...at least I got the "A" right. The one time I saw him he was terrific. Is he a senior?

Also...I vote Intimidator Coach to our welcoming committee. He is such a warm and fuzzy guy :roflmao:

I VOTE WE TALK ABOUT 3A TEAMS, NOT INDIVIDUALS OR PAST TEAM/OTHER SPORTS ACCOMPLISHMENTS, LIKE THE THREAD SAYS. NOW DO I GET A VOTE TO BE ON THE WELCOMING COMMITTEE ??? btw i did not know what a rampant was either.

I understand your point, but since Ramapant is new to the board and he is a Rose supporter (the only one that is on TBR) I thought it would be nice to hear about a team that is rarely mentioned...but I'll bow to your wishes

Geez..you guys are sure getting surly these days :imagestor

It looks like Roberson (16-4, 9-1) will win the MAC, with Tuscola finishing second and getting the other playoff spot. In the CVAC, Fred T. Foard should win the conference title, with Hickory grabbing the wildcard spot. They're all good teams capable of making a nice run, but no powerhouses in the west this year.

    3-A contenders

Ragsdale , Randleman , TC Roberson have to be my three picks from the west. Someone could sneak in there in a one and done format before the Western Finals but I would have to put my money on one of these three teams being there. In the East, West Carteret , Conley , Rocky Mount , CB Aycock. On any given night in a one and done situation anyone can get beat. That is why it is so hard to predict HS playoffs. But in my opinion these are the strongest teams in the 3-A ranks this year.

west carteret beat conley 10-0 in 5 innings a couple nights ago.

if alex white does not pitch every game i think they will run out of gas.

Keep an eye on Fred T. Foard. Their pitching matches up with anybody in 3A.
