    Freedom- ---- 4

    Tie game going into top of 7th and Freedom scores 3.
    Great defensive plays by A. Harrell,J. McKee, and A. Mull- Kaylee davis pitched great and used the defense to control the game.

    Freedom is now 7-4 and tied with AC in the loss column, McDowell falls to 4th.

    Anything on Central and Watauga? South and ACR?

    Also for you AC fans - Freedom JV's defeated McDowell 3-1...

    Watauga hosts West Forsyth Friday at 6:00 in a varsity only game.

    JV Game
    Watauga 6
    Alexander 3

    Watauga's JV team finishes the year at 11-7-1 overall and 5-6-1 in the conference.

    congrats to coach chunk and his jv team! we hit some laser at his girls that to there credit, they caught. the pitcher caught 1 at her head. just 1 of those days when everything you hit is hard , but right at some one! congrats again chunk and jerry !!!!!!see ya friday!

    congrats to ac reynolds on conference win!!! i seen on biggreencountry that they were the 2006 conf. champs!! how many more regular season non-conf. games do you have before playoffs.

    Congrats ACR!!!! But wait ! You still have to win today to ensure there is no shared title. I'm sure Freedom and Alexander are pulling hard for McDowell. If that happens we'll have a three way tie for first if FHS and AC win.

    Could this conference title battle be any closer???? An exciting season for sure. Great competition throughout the season. Good job to all the teams in NW4A for being so competitive!

    As of Wednesday this is the standings for the NW4A Conference- 2 automatic berths.

    1st-AC Reynolds------8-3---11-7
    2nd-Freedom----------7-4---16-6
    Alexander---------7-4---12-6

    4th-McDowell---------6-5---11-8
    5th-Watauga---------5-7---10-11
    6th-South------------4-7---12-9
    7th-East Burke--------2-9---6-12

    This is probably the most competitive conference in the state.
