Davie County should be there, strength of schedule should count for something.Teams that scheduled weak for winning percentage will not last long.

    Wild Card Placement

Does anyone know the system in placing the wild cards for 4A? Used to be the top three seeds went, now we have the top two and the wild card spots.

I understand the teams will be picked based on record, but how will they place them in the seeding? I read on the highschool website that "East Wild Cards will be determined from the conferences in the east, and the West Wild Cards will be determined from the conferences in the west. They will be placed geographically within the east or west." The bracket also says that the same conference may meet in the first round.

When they say "geographically", that is what I am wondering how to interpret. It seems silly they would allow two teams from the same conferences to meet in round one when it can be avoided unless there were more than one wild card from a conference. Any thoughts?
