    thanks EoR for the results and highlights. heard Erin Langdon was the real deal.

    my DD lives in Cleveland community and we enjoy that area too! We'll be there for the State Championship weekend and hope to meet ya then!

    Arndt vs Riverbend

    Arndt Middle School rans its record to 13-0 today by beating Riverbend Middle School. It also ran its record to 27 straight wins going back to last year.

    Arndt-10 (13-0)
    Riverbend-0 (9-3)

    WP- Julia Wakefield (9-0) 11K's, 0 hits, 2 BB (only givin up 1 earned run this year)
    LP-Ashley Detter

    Arndt clinched Championship for second straight year.

    Arndt vs Jacob Fork

    Arndt Middle School held off a late charge by Jacob Fork to win 3-2 today at Jacob Fork. Great Pitching by both teams and very good Defensive game by both teams.

    Arndt-3
    Jacob Fork-2

    WP-Julia Wakefield (10-0) pitched a 1 hitter, gave up 2 runs on a walk, hit and error.


    Also, maybe the catcher for Jacob Fork should do it full time. She played the best catcher position of anybody I've seen this year.

    West Middle

    West Wilkes Middle finished their season this year 10-0. That's 3 years undefeated now. They finished with 2 no hitters and not allowing more than 4 hits in a game. Pitching was fantastic and defense was even better. Offense was as good as it gets. West Middle is losing 7 of the 13 players. Keeping both pitchers and have a lot of talent moving up from the 6th grade. West Wilkes High is getting some very impressive players.

    in the Cleveland/McGees game, Erin Langdon of McGees struck out 18 batters & Alexis Betancourt of Cleveland registered 16 K's.

    West Johnston is loaded for the next "several" years. Seen Erin pitch and just wished i could have seen Alexis do it as well this spring.....who does Alexis play for in the summer?
