    dont know who #10 was for OHS, but she was 3-3 and had one heck of an awesome arm (uncc watching this girl today). OHS had more than one chance to break game open, runner on second - no outs - no run, bases loaded, one out - no run. Stowe from SPHS was really working the outside corner, and ump was giving plenty off the plate. good game, tough way to lose.

    No. 10 Emily Meredith ( I think last name is correct. can play any position first one on field after inning over She is junior ) Best SS I have seen this year This includes all Gaston County, Lincoln County, Cleveland County I am not sure about Mecklenburg County BUT I have not seen that many in Meck County She is the real deal Offense and Defense

    :agreed: Nice win Weddington and Butler! Nice to see all three Southwestern Teams moving on. Weddington, I did not know that story, what a class act! Proud to be affiliated with a great conference in softball, but more importantly with fine young people.
