    Chavis BB (Justin Pearson in to run)
    Craig HBP
    Shehan sac bunt - Pearson to 3B, Craig to 2B
    Seter grounds to SS - runners stay put
    Severt HBP loads the bases
    Clawson Ks looking

    Mid 7 (SCHS 7-3)
    Briggs pops to 2b
    Hines grounds to 2B
    Duckworth grounds to 3b

    SCHS WINS 7-3!!!

    Severt is a lefty and Craig is a righty so I would think Howell is just pitching inside...

    South Caldwell will now face North Forsyth in the Regional Finals series...

    Congrats to the Jeff Parham and the Spartans... Last time Parham was in a State final, he was a player in 1982 and won the state title.

    I feel bad for AC Reynolds, they lose 3 games all year and all three to South Caldwell.

    I feel I have earned a beverage... I'll be back in a few..:)

    Are the series games going to be Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Friday, Saturday, Monday? Just wondering if graduation is gonna be a factor.

    regional series

    According to NCHSAA the regional series begins 25-27th.
    South Caldwell will hold graduation on June 9th. So this will not affect us.

    That was much better than the typical score only post--can't believe the amount of offense off those pitchers. Wonder if AC regrets not throwing their senior and conference player of year in Howell to begin with?

    on behalf of the acr student cheering section i like to apologize about the incident that happened after the game. the stick was thrown by the same jv baseball players that went on the field after the acr win at south caldwell. it never should have happened and i would like to apologize for the incident. but i would like to say you guys must really hate us or something. we were even nice today but you still came out and taunted us, although it was alittle better this game up until the stick incident. but congrats to south caldwell and good luck, and im being honest. i may not like you guys very much and you guys may not like us but you guys have a great ball program and it has been a great rivalry this year. and i would like to apologize to CF #8 for giving him so much hell this year

    Congrats to SC

    Great game!! Bumgarner on the mound, Clawson, Hardee, Chavis, several hits apiece. There was no taunting from SC fans or players. Our players immediately ran to right field as they always do to stretch. Your fans or JV players were throwing sticks and rocks at our varsity players as they ran and stretched after the game in the outfield. Split open a player's head. Talk about sore losers!! There is talk of charges being brought against ACR by SC's administration. Really a shame to ruin a great game of baseball by two great teams. Great season to ACR's varsity players. Classy guys.
