Been around a lot longer then you think...

 

it has been my experience that if you have a winning team, there are and will always be people out to get them no matter how good the sportsmanship. We all see things through different glasses, depending on whether we are the *winning team* or *losing team*

 

I don't have a problem with someone disliking someone else, but i just don't need it on every post they make nor do i care for the smart comments on every post, its definately old and childish.

 

CAM, play nice......will ya?

JUST WONDERING?

How many of you Monte bashers would change your tune if he was coaching your team? Sounds to me kinda like the players who bash the New York Yankees, until ol George comes calling then its a different tune.

 

If I may:
I haven't seen CC play.
I haven't seen ND play.
I haven't met either coach.
This is what softball is all about..... On any given day.
Congrats to CC on a tremendous run and calling attention to the talent in N.C. I am grateful and proud of you girls. You can't win 'em all.
Congrats to ND for bringing their "A" game and determination, proving they belong. I am grateful and proud of you girls also. After this game, you girls taught EVERY single fellow competitor in N.C. and the nation a lesson:

Hard work and determination, combined with talent, pays off.
Every girl who knows about this game is better for it because of both teams, not both coaches or the most parents.

If so I sure hope that the person who called someone a "prick head" was also given a warning or better yet banned. I never started calling people names like that. Maybe if I start crying to the mods about being called names... (I will stop now)

CanAm pushes the envelope sometimes but I doubt if there is a bigger supporter of the players themselves. I know he was at the Enka/KM game and still did not get to meet him but hopefully I will soon. I have read his posts and I know he pushes CC's patience to the limits. A lot of posts on here have come close to the point but basically I think he respects those who post on here who are humble in the fact that the game could end for them tomorrow not only for a player but a coach. We have seen a few threads on here that have brought that very fact closer to home recently. Lblues, players hurt and out for the season if not their careers. When you are winning and winning big it is hard to stay humble. I think CanAm just reminds us of that. Do we have to agree with the way he does it, of course not but there are a lot of posts on here that push my patience as well. I know that my posts push some of the members here also. The world and the game itself is not all sugar and spice as we would like to think it was when our DD's were younger. I think he is responding to the posters on here who may or may not speak for CC. If you go back and look at my posts you will see that I have the utmost respect for CC and their program but I know that they are not above reproach. CC will be back next year and yes it is a little strange to not see them at State this year but hey there are some other great players and programs out there that it was just a matter of time. WF and CC's games last year were determined by who blinked first. I guess you can say CC blinked first this time. Ease up on CanAm and he will ease up on you. Does CanAm need my defense of course not as CHEEZE stated before "he's a big ole boy"....lol. Take it all in the manner that it is given. Just one persons opinion. He did not state any of the facts that were said on TBR but only responded to them. If they are false then the people making them should be the ones you are mad at not CanAm. Enough said by me for sure. I am excited for the players,parents, coaches and fans who are still in the race for a state championship. Hope to be in Raleigh myself.

 

Where will CanAm be sent?

If Can Am were to be voted off the island, where would you send him and who would offer him amnesty?

We folks down her in Union County have a bunch of yahoo's running the county (commissioners), maybe he could come down here and square them up.

We also have a couple of prisons needing to be "in lockdown" for a while, although he might have withdrawals from not being able to watch fastpitch.



Bottom line is everyone is going to have a problem with a winning program, no matter the sport, if your kid or you isn't a part of it. it comes with the territory......

I HAVE NOT POSTED ON THIS BOARD IN 2 YEARS. HOWEVER, WHEN ONE READS ALL OF THE B.S. THAT YOU PUT ON HERE WITH YOUR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH IT PISSES PEOPLE OFF.
