    Congratulations to Butler seniors and team captains – Emily Jeffery, Jessi Polk and Mandy Ward. After 3 years of Varsity and 1 year of JV, they have experienced only 1 home loss (Central Cabarrus in State Playoffs, 2004). All 3 will be playing D1 next year.

    Special kudos go out to Emily “Dizzy” Jeffery. As one half of the two-headed pitching monster at Butler, Emily has always been stellar on the mound but she has really stepped up her game this year. Her numbers this season have been nothing less than spectacular:

    12 Wins, no losses
    12 Shutouts, ERA= 0.00
    153 Strikeouts
    3 no hitters
    11 hits total - allowed

    Keep up the good work Dizzy… You and Ashton have one more weekend to bring it all home.

    congratulations ND on your win tonite.Good luck in Raleigh,I know you guys will represent the CPC very well.Bring back a title to Welcome,& Coach Lambros, he deserves one.Now it's time to get ready for some Cobraball!!!!!!!!!
