ok I am going to vent a little.

Don't understand why admission is $8 on Friday & 10 on Sat. then had to pay $3 for parking. What is the admission for the other championships?

Here is where I vent. Paid $8 to get in on Friday expecting to see 2 games. Well as we all know the rain & lightning came and cancelled after 1 game. We were told to hold on to our tickets because when they resumed playing these tickets would be honored. They ended up cancelling the rest of the games on friday & started back up Sat. morning. As we entered the gates we were told that thee were recharging to get in and it was now $10. Was anyone else PISSED when they were told this. I know this "peckerhead" was. Now my question is to the parents and fans of the teams that lost their first two games, Did you get your $10 back? because these should have been played on the first day & you would not have come back on the second day. They said they would honor the tickets for the first day!!!

Something needs to be done about the concession stand at Walnut Creek. There is no reason that it should take 15 - 30 mins to go thru the line to get drinks & stuff. I know many people that stood in line for 10 - 15 mins and did not move.

Umpiring: These guys are suppose to be the best in the state, atleast that is what the anouncers said. Well they need to learn what a strike is. I don't know how many times I saw a strike called and they ball was in the eyes of the batter.

I will stop for now, lets hear everyones opinion!!

Man you should have heard the announcer/color commentator for the 3A championship game. I think he thought he was doing the play by play for the Braves. You should have heard everyone laughing at him!!!!

    Ticket Prices

I also voiced my objections to having to pay $10.00 on Saturday to see the games I had paid $8.00 to see on Friday. With a family of four I ended up paying $75.00 to see two games. I was also frustrated to find out that all the games were being played at the same time thus making it impossible to see other teams in the 1A, 3A and 4A brackets. The times were also inconvient for the palyers in that they were scheduled back to back and did not allow for a lunch or supper break. The morning games were scheduled for 11:00 and 1:30 and the evening games were 5:00 and 7:30. This only left time for the players to gulp down an offering from the concession stand if they were lucky enough to get through the line. The consession stand was swamped because all the games were ending and starting at the same time.

    amen

AMEN to all of it . They also don't allow coolers and then they jack up the price of every thing they sell. What a bunch of crap.

I agree with all that has been said because I was there the last two previous years and it seems nothing has changed. The status quo remains. What can we do about it?

Everyone that is unhappy from coaches to players need to voice their opinion to the NCHSAA. They probably don't care but everyone needs to call, send e-mail the them.
