I agree it is a shame that teams drop out of tournaments at the last minute. It has really affected organizations like USSSA and left them with tournaments that don't make. Teams need to make out a tournament schedule and stick with them as much as possible. :twocents:

You keep saying the same thing..."What's Your Point ?" I told you that the teams sign up and some change at the last minute..." I still don't see why it matters"...........I was just pointing out that there is a lot of softball to see this upcoming weekend....Softball Guru

Why would you want to Showcase kids already in college ball ? That's what showcase ball is for to get first timers seen by college coaches to get into college...let the kids already in college be in a league that is designed for college players..........:agreed:

I would not attend this tourney if I lived next door to the park. Right now I despise "The Creek"

I had never heard of the WIFA before reading this thread.. not that it means a whole lot... guess its primarily down east. It does look like the WFC has gotten some of the better eastern organizational names at their tournament including the CF Storm and the Challengers. I don't know, maybe the Dominators and the FV Bombs are playing in Kinston. I have heard the Carolina Heat is a team with a lot of talent this year. Of course the Blues 14U is a good team as well.

I believe it's entirely up to the team and parents as to what organizations that one plays in. We have played them all and have had good and bad experiences in Pony,ASA,NSA,(WFC,USFA split off from each other). We did not play mostly ASA or Pony. Lot of rules we don't like because they don't cater to the "most" players. Having said that we enjoyed them all and have 5 young ladies that will be playing college ball in the fall.
