    Gaston Braves over Huntersville

    The Gaston Braves won 4-1 last night against Huntersville Post 321
    4-1 at East Gaston HS.

    W-Charlie Hill (2-1)
    L-Patrick Sherrill

    Leading Hitters for the Braves were Todd Palmer and Justin Moore.

    ****The Braves actually now improve to 15-0 in the Area IV East Div.
    and 17-0 overall.
    ****The Braves had one loss but Gastonia Post 23 recently had to forfiet some games, one being the Braves only loss.

    The Braves play again on Sat at Newell at 7

    I wasn't at the game, but that is correct score. 12 games in 10 days finally got up with them. Nothing against Winston-Salem, they have a good team.

    WF plays at High Point tommorrow at 7pm.

    L-D bats come back to life after a night off vs Stanley. Daniel Kassouf (rising Senior at North Davidson) had another big night at the plate with 3 hits and 5 RBI. Chaz Frank, Levi Michael and Andrew Hunt also had multiple hits.

    Post 8 improves to 17-6 overall and 13-5 in league.
