Yes, they don't like it when you call the kettle black. But not being able to handle an adult conversation, even if you are criticizing, is purley childish. Probably this scene happens on every high school team in NC. Politics and buddy ball prevail and no ones supposed to question that. Funny, though, when those "buddies" keep making same mistakes they've made all year all the way to third round and blatantly cost the team a shot in Raleigh. Why does everyone get so upset and act suprised? Anyway, if yours is planning on playing in college, don't know if you can say much. I assume the coach would go so far as blackballing the kid if he's already making some of these other unethical decisions. But if yours ain't gonna play in college, then her decision to stay and play is on your terms. Mine does it for the comraderie with group of girls she's played with since age 5 - not the coach... she knows whats goin' on. The rest is just entertainment.

I applaud Pop and the committee for all the hard work they put into selecting the all-state team. Most of us do not know what in the heck some of you are talking about on this board concerning this matter. You should keep your individual school problems to yourself. Take it to your school (coach) instead of airing out your gripes on this board. We want to hear positive information.

Nobody knocked Pop and we all acknowledge the work work they do. But, c'mon now, everybody knows exactly what we're talking about regarding this matter.

This board is for positive thinkers and doers. You should air your personal problems with your hometown crowd and not here. Becasue everyone gets tired of hearing the whinning and crying that's why. We haven't a clue what personal politics you're going through and don't care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really don't think anyone was dubbing pop rivers, i read this as dubbing a coach who didnt submit the better player vs politics, etc, etc...... seems to me someone was trying to give good advice, and sooth the situation for richard and his dd red, but i really didnt see where anyone blamed it on pop river????? this man has done a great job from scratch, and he can only consider the input that he receives, right??? so, the answer is to push your school coach or ad to submit your stats for the players that deserve to be considered.

Exactly Cheese, NOBODY said anything bad about Pop. Their organization has done a good job with what resources they have.

What I think is great is this softball_56 has been here less than a month and is now telling people how to act here!!!!!!:thud: We all know how to act here and sometimes we (I) take it a little to far.

Softball_56 - like I said before If you don't have a clue what he (they are talking about) then I think you need be quiet. We will not tell you so just be quiet. Take your own advise and become a positive thinker or doer here!:229031_ha :thud:
