    WHIP Radio 1350AM Player of the game-Nathan Abraham 4 for 5, 2 RBI's, 2 Runs scored. Kudos also to TC Cathcart who was 3 for 4. These two combined for 7 of the team total 12 hits. Rising freshman Spencer Brann connected with his 3rd HR in the first inning.

    Rowan leads series 1-0. Tanner Brown pitched the 5 inning complete game
    1 hitter, 9 K's, 1 BB. Hits - Zack Smith was 2-4, 3B, 2B and 3 RBI's - Justin Mock was 3-4, 3B and a RBI - David Ijames had two hits and Joe Kesler had a 2B and 2 RBI's. They play again tonight and Saturday at Catawba.

    I heard Wilkes Central forfeited there series against Mocksville.What is up with that? This is the area 3 commisioners home team.

    Rowan swept High Point in 3 games over the weekend. Will play South Rowan tonight at Catawba.

    Aaron Meadows and TC Cathcart were integral members of the MSHS JV NPC Conference Baseball team this past season...they can get it done with the glove as well....good luck to them and the rest of the JR Legion team!!!!!!:trophy:
