    I spoke with Coach Bagwell today. Needless to say he was livid at the comments made here. He vehemently denies the comments that have been made attributed to him. In fact, it has hurt him deeply.

    He asks that if anyone has concerns about why he accepted the position at AK, please contact him at [email protected].

    He also asks that all posters please refrain from making any more comments on TBR about his decision(s) until they have contacted him.

    I agree wholeheartedly, personal decisions are personal, and for anyone to speculate does nothing positive towards the situation.

    What is the latest on the South Meck coaching situation? Has anyone been hired? If not, who is being mentioned/rumored for the job?

    No announcement made yet....it has been said that an out of state candidate is being considered....hopefully a decision can be made soon.:77321_bs:

    Now this is a RUMOR, so who knows, but i heard Jamie Lowe of NFHS has interviewed for the job!? anyone know if this is true or not please let me know.

    Anyone know any of the names of people who have applied for the job? Or when a decision will be made? I am sure they will choose a highly qualified individual with great vision for the program.

    Was just told this yesterday (for what it's worth) from someone that I respect, that the job will be filled from someone from the mid westeren part of the country. Don't have the name, but this informer told me that the guy has a great track record. Again, for what's it's worth. I know Mike Edwards and think he would be a great addition.

    Braves, have you heard anything new within the last couple of weeks?
