    W-S forfeit

    the cause for the absense of the W-S team during the first game was simply a miscommunication by the coach. Coach Welch thought that the series started tonight in Asheboro so the team didnt show up yesterday, thus they had to forfeit.

    As for the team showing up and being ready to play tonight, i'm not sure that was the case. They fell into a 9-1 hole in the by the 4th inning. The guy for Post 45 pitched well (#10??). W-S flew out to center to end the game with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth. They lost 9-7.
