    Rowan Jrs. vs Mocksville

    Rowan scored 6 runs in the 2nd and 4 in the 5th to seal the victory.
    Tanner Brown pitched the 5 inning complete game giving up 2 hits, had 2 K's and 1 BB.
    Hits: Kenny Barnes 3-4, 4 RBI / Joe Kesler 3-4,RBI / Zack Smith 2-4 / Alex Britt 2-3 / Kent Basinger 2-4, RBI.
    Rowan is now 27-0 and leads series 2-0. Plays at Catawba tonight at 7.

    Nick Smith got the win, w/Alex Litaker pitching 2 2/3 innings in relief.

    Rowan wins series 3-0 will advance to the state tournament. Rowan is now
    28-0 on the season.

    Justin Mock hit a solo home run in the first.

    SA - Stalker pitched a complete game 2 hitter. Dameron hit a lead off HR. Series tied 1-1.

    Southern Alamance tied the series at 2 games apiece. Groce pitched a complete game giving up 4 hits. Nick Smith was the losing pitcher giving up 6 hits and 1 earned run. Kent Basinger had a HR in the 5th for Rowan. For SA Stalker had 2 doubles and Mike Nunn had 2 hits and the game winner. The teams play tonight at Catawba for game 5.

    Rowan wins the series 3-2 and wins the area 3 championship.
    Alex Litaker was the winning pitcher 5 1/3 innings w/Alex Britt in relief. Every player in the Rowan lineup had a hit. Both teams move on to the state tournament, Rowan will be a #1 seed and S Alamance a #3. Rowan's overall record is now 32-2.
    Hits: Kent Basinger 2-4 HR(2) 2 RBI
