Very good game by both pitchers-Gaston and Caldwell--should be a great game tonight with lots of fans. Way to go 29ers. Keep up the good work. Believe. Enjoyed the Gaston crowd last night.

Winning Pitcher Madison Bumgarner who pitched through 7 complete innings and shutout Gaston. Derick Coffey came in and pitched the 8th inning but gave up 1 run and was pulled in favor of Brian Chandler who finished the game. By my account that makes 27 innings Madison has pitched for Caldwell and has yet to allow an earned run. He did give up 1 run against Shelby but an error allowed the runner to score. He obviously would have pitched many innings for Caldwell had he been with the team but he was late arriving due to advancing to the state championship series for South Caldwell and later attended several showcase events during the course of the legion season.
