I'll go with Kris Harvey, probably the best I saw. Pitched the night I was there, topped out around 93 and never got one above the belt. I think he could hit a little bit too! :)

Kyle Seeger- He was always on base. Could hit to all fields and could easily find himself starting on the UNC baseball team as a freshman

Keith Mauney- Could not play his Sr. year in HS because he played varsity as a freshman at a private school and transferred to Providence. If you saw him play Legion this summer you can see his athleticism. Makes outstanding plays in the field and can hit the long ball as well.

Matt Laymon- Pitched the entire game including extra innings in the championship game this year against Providence. Was in total control the whole game only giving up 3 hits. Prov. had beaten S.Meck twice prior to that game and the itensity was unreal.

Chad Flack - North Carolina's career HR leader with 44, 24-3 record as a pitcher, 3 State Titles. Can anyone else match that?

Ryan is definitely one of the more laid back players you'll ever see. He is still plugging away in West Virginia (Low A for the Brewers).

    OK

but leave him at catcher; he's not a 1st baseman.

    Matt Camp

Matt was great in HS, I had the privaledge of coaching him in legion ball and I have never had a kid who played harder than Matt Camp. Matt hated to lose and is the type of player who will excel at any level b/c he refuses to lose.

Also Devon Lowery and BJ Richmond were very good for that 2002 SPHS team. Both got drafted, Devon out of HS and BJ after a yr at USC.

The best HS pitcher I ever saw was Chris Mason for Post 100 during their run to the nat. championship game that yr. That was the most dominating summer I have ever seen a kid have, I think he went something like 15-1 on the summer or something unreal like that.

Aaron was A10 Freshman of the Year and Robby is 2nd all time in wins in NC HS Baseball. They got IHS to the finals one year too.
