    Yes it was 60 not 61 like you will see everywhere, our scoreboard at ACR had 61, however we missed 3 extra points.

    Folks, McDowell played the team (Roberson) that's likely gonna win the MAC 3A Conference and will be a serious 3A playoff contender. While Roberson had an all-around more athletic squad, McDowell fought to the end and had chances to make things very interesting in the 2nd half. If you are a McDowell fan you have to be very pleased with the effort given tonight, Infact as I was leaving the stadium, most of those in the bottom level stood up and gave a hand to the Titans and I also noticed when the game ended quite a few of the players walked off the field with confidence unlike last year when most everybody walked off feeling down. I know its only one game but I feel like tonight's effort is the right step in changing the mentality of the Titan program.

    Couldn't agree more, bigdan. Tonight's McDowell team would have beaten last years team, playing their best ball, by 3 touchdowns. Now, that may not be saying much to some of you, but this is a team that I think folks will not want to see later in the year. I honestly think they will make some noise in the NW4A. You can count on one think; they will play hard from beginning to end, and that didn't happen a lot last year. That being said, they need to find a back up runner. If Buggy gets hurt, well,......... However, McDowell was down 26-12 early in the 4th, had the ball and was moving, when they committed their 3rd (maybe 4th????) tunover of the game. TC scored with about 8 minutes left to eventually seal the game. I didn't get to see the majority of the 4th quarter because my son said, "daddy, I'm sweepy" (yeah, I spelled it wrong, that's the way he said it). So, we left. How did McDowell score to make it 18, dan???????
