ESPN is showed every single pool play game this year...if not on ESPN or ESPN2...it was one ESPN Deportes....and yes breaking balls are numerous and it always seems to be a topic when everyone watches the LLWS because everyone is exposed to the young kids throwing the breaking pitch...I wish some would just learn the change-up because it would almost be just as devestating because it would look the exact same out of the hand. Just saying what i think b/c my dad did a 12 year old team in 2002 and all the kids on that team did not throw a curve and used fast change....had a couple kids on that team that are doing pretty well now...Casey Smith and Ryan Dull...if you havent heard of them now you will after next year!

    agree?

I notice this each year, it just seems like the kids from Japan are more "focused" on each play during games than their opponents. Same thing for some of the latin america teams. They just have that "look" of intensity & keep their cool.
Maybe it's just a culture thing.

I have watched more this year than I ever have, and don't really know why. I think the excellent pitching has been the attraction for me. I still hate seeing these young kids throwing so many curveballs though.

I think thats ridiculous. If ESPN doesnt want that kind of stuff on tv they shouldnt put mics all over the place. Sports are very emotional and sometimes people cant control them, especially younger kids. I dont think he should be in there cussing, but remember he is a kid and they dont always do the right thing. I do think suspending the coach was good because he shouldnt be hitting kids, hes way bigger than them.

Columbus, Ga. wins the USA and will await the winner of the International Poll between Japan and Mexico. Columbus will rely on the services of Kyle Carter to pitch in the championship final.

    Strikezone

If the strikezone is as wide tomorrow as it is in the Japan/Mexico game, it should be a LOW scoring game...
