It was a good night to be a Charger.:ylsuper: Burns was able to move the ball some in the first half, but Coach Kirby made some adjustments at the half and really stopped the Bulldogs. Burns was only able to amass a total of 40 yards in the second half and 1 first down. Camp was held to 48 yrds rushing and 5 of 16 on his passes.

Crest may be back to throwing 2 RB's at you. Ryan Black has exploded on the Varsity scene. Last night saw Black and Tosh Toms combine for 227 yrds and all of the Chargers TD's. Black is a 6-1 190 lb Jr and Tosh is 5-4 150 lb Jr. The Crest version of Thunder and Lightning. Black gave a great interview after the game. He talked about Tosh being the man and that he was the starting RB for Chargers. It was his job to try and run people over when he gets into the game. Don't want to leave out the Crest passing game as Robinson threw for over 200 yards to many rec. One play was a screen pass to Toms, I can't wait to see it on tape, that had 3 of the big OL for Crest 20 yards down the field knocking guys over.

The Crest kicking game still needs some work, and the schedule is going to tough, but it was a great way to start the season.

He scored a pair of TDs for the Spartans. His first of the season. The Spartan line did a MUCH better job this week and should be commended cause the offense clicked 100 times better than against FTF. It all starts up front.

BTW, Jimmy Messer ran for over 100 yards too. Them baseball kids can pitch, throw, play the field and run over people... its fun to have pure athletes I tell ya.

East Meck did not play Friday night.
Give up on it. I've looked at every newspaper site in NC without success, the Greenville Reflector shows the other locals, but has the game time listed for that game.
