    My Carolina Flamez 12U from Spartanburg and western NC just won the Late Summer Blast in Gastonia, NC. And yes Tony, Taylor was a monster behind the plate, and Katie pitched the semi-final and won, scattering four hits.

    The Carolina Angels won the 10U brackett after falling to the losers brackett in their second game by one run and fighting back through seven games for the championship. Now on to 12U. :woohoo:
