Anyone know when the new rocketech will be approved for NSA play?
It's not listed on their approved list yet, even though it has NSA approved on the bat itself.

ROCKET TECH is approved by ASA and generally this is what NSA goes by.

My daughters new rocketech hits just as hard as the 2005 version, maybe as hard as the old red 2004. Too early to tell, it's not broken in yet. Bat is BALANCED, different than older rocketechs which were end loaded. Most soft toss hits are going 200 ft, can't wait to see how it does off a live pitch.

Both of my DD's have used the bat. They both say it has good pop, but does indeed "swing" lighter than the 2005. They had to make some minor adjustments in their swing.

By the way, for those going to the beach this weekend, the 2007 is not listed on the NSA approved bat list yet. This list will be posted at the fields and according to the e-mail I got back from Coleman Elliot of the SC NSA, if the bat is not on the list, it can't be used this weekend. I know some players that will be disappointed if the umps enforce the bat list rule.

this is correct, the bat has not been received by nsa for approval, should receive on monday and be out on the approved list by thursday. weight has been shifted more to a balanced bat with pop. team anderson has asked me to issue an appology for the delay, but states it will be worth the wait.

    Rocket

One of the kids with us at the Beach tournament this weekend had the new rockettech. She was allowed to use it on Saturday. When the ump gave his ok, the opposing team brought out about 4. Seemed like every kid that came to the plate was holding a new rocket. However, new set of umps on Sunday said no way so all the new rockets stayed in the bag.
