NW4A Seedings?

    Anyone know when or how the drawings came out for the #2, #3, and #4 seeds from the NW4A between Watauga, Alexander Central, and Freedom? Please post when you find out.

    Watauga drew second, Freedom third, Alexander fourth. South gets the five seed due to record.

    Sounds like the Cougars got the shaft. You beat a team 31-3, they get 2nd and you get 4th...Wow. Oh Well, The Cougars are going to be a damned tough out in the playoffs:newsmile34:

    Had the Cougars taken care of their business they would be the second seed. Their team happened to come together against us last week in Taylorsville. We beat Freedom so maybe we should beat 2nd.

    You're right on that one. I hope with everything clicking that AC continues to put the hammer down. I wish good luck to all the NW4A teams in the playoffs. :newsmile37:

    yep agree

    yeah... well im really not too happy bout AC's deal in the playoffs gettin 9th and having to play on thursday.. thats kinda crappy... would it have killed them to i mean make us at least 8 or something... let us play at home and hey reynoldsrocks23... maybe there'll be a rematch in round 2 up at ur place with the 2 AC's once again.. that would be a great game.. but yeah good luck to both south, freedom, watauga, reynolds, and my cougars!

    playoffs... a necessary evil?

    I like the way ol' Rob thinks. A rematch would nice. Cougars Vs. Rockets and maybe even South Caldwell Vs. Watauga. which would then set up another NW4A rematch with several possibilties. but this also goes to show you that the playoff system in HS football in NC is screwed up. Even Southern Durham got a #11 seed at 8-3 and has to play Pine Forest at#6 with an 8-3 record as well. maybe the bigest miscalculation is in the 4AA bracket with 4-7 West Meck (#6) at 8-3 Providence (#11). anybody else see anything interesting??

    hey everybody... you know why the state dosen`t care if things are messed up, the almighty $$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!good luck to all the nw4a teams
