The NCHSAA is it's infinite wisdom has given Alexander Central the shaft. The Cougars end up tied for 2nd with a record of 8-3. They come up with the short end of the stick in the draw with Watauga and Freedom and end up a 4th place team. So, here they go to High Point Central who has a record of 6-5. Here's the clincher, the game is going to played on a Thursday. Way to go NCHSAA. For High Point Central, YOU get a bad break, the guys from Taylorsville will be a little testy on THURSDAY.

HP Central and HP Addrews share the same field. Andrews made the playoff as well, and it was there turn to play on Friday. They have been doing this all year. By the way, Good Luck to the Rockets, we expect to see you guys in two weeks. If we don't make it all the way, hope you guys do. Still, when we come to Fairview in two weeks, we expect to win.

    thurdsday is bad for NCHSAA

Alexander Central's starting cornerback Dustin Huffman was nominated to for the Wendy's HS Hiesman. the seremony is on... oh yea thurday!!! Alexander Central is seriously considering a protest or a request to have the game moved to a nuetral site. Both he and AD (and Defensive cooridnator) Tom Harper are requested to be in charlotte since huffman has made the cut to the top 10. This is the second year in a row that the NCHSAA has found a way to mess with the boys from Taylorsville.

    no change

Huffman has decided that his senior playoffs are more important than the Wendy's HS Hiesman.

I dont see how the NCHSAA is giving AC the shaft, as you say. You say that there was a tie for second place. I'm guessing it was a three way tie for second with Watauga, Freedom and AC. If I'm wrong then correct me. You say that AC came out on the short end of the draw and was awarded a 4th place finish and subsequent seeding for the tournament. If that is not right then I stand corrected again. 4th place teams usually get a type of "at large" seeding, regardless of drawings or whatever. I know its sucks but 4th place teams usually play road games. HPC probably finished higher in their conference than you did in yours and that finish garnered them an 8 seed. The NCHSAA had little to do with the draw but placed your team accordingly afterwards. I wouldnt let this thing dominate your attitude or you could find yourself wondering what happened on the way home grom High Point on Thursday night. Good Luck to the Cougars. You have areally strong defense this year!

maybe he should be Whiner One since thats all he's done.

Central ( HP Central) isn't that good this year anyway. Other than the road trip ( and Taylorsville to High Point isn't that bad a drive) they should make easy work of HPC if they are so good.

They won't play in a nicer stadium than Simeon Stadium this playoff year and coached get to go scout on Friday and the players get to go celebrate.

    where is this shaft again?
