    Its great to hear that we are finaly getting the All star game for our young ladies.
    I hope that Travel ball will not interfere with this event. I am involved in both and feel both are importand to the girls development. One way to help make it work may be to get the college coaches to commit to coming out to look at some of there prospects at the all-star weekend.

    I vote for Daddy Dobber & Shane Johnson to be the coaches for the west team, both love the sport and are good with the girls....GURU

    Possible conflicts

    1) ASA regional qualifiers
    2) Greensboro College's "Pride Showcase" already scheduled on that weekend.

    Great Job Pop!

    As to the coaches question- would they have to be HS coaches since the team will be picked from the HS season?
    Let's just hope there are no conflicts and the kids play. I know if selected my players will be there. This will be a great honor for the kids and hopefully the college coaches will show up.

    both events played in Greensboro..........maybe one could play in both!!

    HS for sure

    I think that the 2007 East/West All-Star coaches should obviously be HS coaches.

    Ok, for those of us who don't know, how are the girls selected? HS coach recommendation, or what? That would really suck for those of us who have a head coach and AD that could give a flying flip about stats, etc.

    Thanks for the vote guru but i believe i will sit this one out and me and you can both watch from the sidelines ........... and complain that the coaches are not doing something right :newsmile62: or how we would have done it :rotflmao:
