    Pioneers advance to the quarterfinals!

    No one on the team thinks of Watauga as a one-player football team, but hopefully this silences anyone on this board who has suggested it. Watauga's Eric Breitenstein left the game for good with a concussion early in the second quarter with his team down 14-6, and Watauga found a way to win anyway. Defensive lineman Grady McKinney's return of a tipped pass for a touchdown proved to be the winning score. Great performance by the Pioneer defense, which shutout the Pirates in the second half.
