    I saw his dad after the game Friday and he said he might be back later in the season, maybe around early February or tournament time. And yes, he has mono.

    East is now 15-1. We suck at football but for some reason known only to God the basketball team is good this year. Miracles do happen :ylsuper:

    Friday nights WHS vs Alexander game was the second of 3 straight one point mens basketball games I witnessed. (Thurs WHS vs East, Fri WHS vs Alex, Sat ASU vs Elon). First of all, I must say that this was the biggest comeback for Watauga since down 5 last year with 30 seconds to go vs South. The refs were absolutly horrible. Completly pathetic. 41 fouls on WHS to 24 on Alexander. Alexander shot 59 freethrows, WHS 32. But Zach Greene went off and the pressure got to the Cougs. Seth Moore went out and is day to day because of getting pushed and tripped, NO FOUL. But great game btw. WHS season will still come down to 2 games IMO. at East and at home vs McDowell.
