Coach Pope been on a workout program in the offseason, looks like he dropped a few pounds, probably from working so hard on the field. Braves I think we could cook anything on that grill.

Speaking of fields who has the best field in the CPC I know all the coaches take pride in their second homes. Shouldnt the best field get the CPC tournament?

Yep...Dan Marino didn't lie, that LA Weight Watchers program really works!

Coach Pope has been working on his 2nd career...modeling for a calendar. He is multi-talented like that.

and Cubs brought up a great question. Who does have the best HS facility in the CPC?

obviously the photogropher must have used his "slimming" lens to take that picture. amazing technology... makes you look a good 100 pounds lighter. nice grill though. i believe we could cook a few dogs on that one. as far as facilities.... i think all the fields in the cpc are pretty nice. not a dog among them. of course i am partial to our field but so would every coach be partial to their field. a good group of coaches who work hard in the cpc.:laugh1: :orangehat:

All the fields are in great shape. But I am partial to Rich Park with the nice grandstand. With the amount of play it gets the field is used 9 months out of the year. It takes a beating.

I know Ragsdale is not in the CPC but our field is truly a Field of Dreams. Coach Maness works on it every single day. Weekends and all. He has a greens superintendant help him over-seed with rye. It looks great. He has a group of parents led by the parents of some senior players along with a few other volunteers that raises money for projects and helps him on the field. They have remodeled dugouts from the parents, a nice , new backstop with net (with advice from RedSoxFan and a few parents from SW Guilford), a new warning track all around the field, and just starting to put a roof over the batting cages and install lights. You step on that field and it's like an outdoor cathedral. Our kids are very fortunate to have a coach and parent group that cares.

no doubt that rich park and north davidson have nice concession stands and bathrooms that really help out tje atmosphere. we are suppose to get the bathrooms and concession by middle of the season (we will see). rich park and north both are very nice considering the amount of play that both fields have on them. but like i said, there are nobad fields in the cpc.
