Adam Church for 09 will be a standout player.
One of the best sophomore catchers in the state.
Has great power, already bats 5th for Watauga Varsity.
    Great work ethic, and athleticism.
    Decent speed around the basepaths.
Very solid arm on the throw to second and quick release.
Blocks the ball very well and is a well rounded all over individual.

Watch out for this guy in 09 if he keeps progressing he will turn alot of heads.

    Team leaders, not supporting cast!

Kids like Jeff May and Tyler Hanover can put their respective teams on their backs and carry them. Another is Cameron Conner at Fuquay.
These guys are studs that a team can be built around, and they are all completely different type players with one common denominator... they will do what it takes to beat you.

After about half the season completed, these guys came to play. All hit the ball well and are solid fielders.

    Ryan Stetson (AK)
    Tyler Tewell (Butler)
    Richie Shaffer (Providence)

All three are very talented... I know Shaffer played as a freshman last year and has already hit 5 or 6 bombs this year, including his incredible performance against AK with his three towering homers, he shows great potential and Tewel is very hot right now and is sure to always be a tough out... Stetson hit the big grand slam last night and is blazing fast all three are going to get nothing but better and lead their teams to many victories in the future

It sure is nice to see some of the older Carolina Angels getting some recognition. They were an awesome team of players and parents. I really miss having them together.

    Ballbaby:

McBride and Myers are both very talented. McBride is playing Varsity but getting little time on the mound or at the plate due to the talented Titan team with numerous seniors. Myers is having an outstanding JV season. He has all the tools to play in the next level with some work on his body. I look forward to seeing them both play the next three years.

Casey Allison and Josh Moore of West Henderson, 08's will both be offered in July. Daniel Hyatt, 09, is also getting on some radar screens.
