    ND vs. PHS

North Davidson's offense came alive in the bottom of the 6th to beat the Mustangs of Parkland 10-5. This game was suprisingly a pitcher's dual early with senior righty Jon Ray on the hill for Parkland and junior righty Clay Watson for the Knights. Ray pitched 5 complete giving up 3 earned and 4 total struck out 4 and hit one, and Watson went 4 1/3 giving up 3 earned and striking out 4 I believe. LHP Zach White came in and allowed 1 earned and two total and struck out a handfull of Mustangs. His breaking ball and command were quite impressive. I thought this one might go down to the wire but North Davidson had other plans. It was a great night for baseball and I was glad I decided to go watch.

    Whiteville High School

    Whiteville improves to 2-0
    Whiteville 5 - Clinton High School 2

Sprandon McHoney (Soph) started the game but Robbie Penny (Sr) came in and picked up the win, striking out 11 of the 13 batters that he face. He hit one batter and he forced a 5-3 put out. An outstanding performance for Robbie Penny.
Note: Robbie is still an unsigned senior!

Whiteville returns to action on Tuesday at East Bladen.

glenn beats southern alamance 12-2 kasey smith pitched extremley great for the 5 inning complete game umm no real player stats tonight except charlie jordan may have been 3-3 or so with 2 or 3 rbis and really set the tone for the glenn offense out of the leadoff spot. i am afraid to say not the game i expected it seem southern came out flat and never really had a chance once they got down i thought it would be a closer game like in past years but i was wrong tonight there was a different southern alamance team out there not one of there previous teams that had that swagger and would grind out wins
