    Are you able to get anyone besides the head & asst coaches to do this? Most parents / fans don't really appreciate the amount of time and effort that goes into providing an adequate facility to practice and play. Many HS's do a great job at this, by the way.

    Field Maint

    During the season our players take care of the field. The only thing they do not do is cut the grass. In the off season the coaches do all the work on the field.

    coach 27 same thing here, the players help, under close supervisions:smash: during the season. most field improvements are usually funded by fund raisers

    Our coaches do most of the work, but the players take care of raking the infield and homeplate, etc everyday after practice. Last year before the playoffs we spent a day working on getting everything ready for the playoff game and had parents come up and help out with that.

    Coach Pete Hardee does nothing but take care of that field. If he has free time during his "hectic" days...he is out there on the field making it look great and most of all, play great. He takes so much pride in that field. It's like a liddle baby to him..

    Our coaches do the majority of the field work. We do have a VERY SMALL number of parents that come out and do other maintenance when its needed along with the coaches.
