    WP - Jeremy Peed (1-0) 5.1 IP 4 runs (3 ER), 6 hits, 4 K's, 2 BB
    LP - Michael Hart
    SV - Hunter Wrenn (1) 1.2 IP 0 runs 0 hits 3 K's 1 BB

    Leading Hitters:

Webb - Sam Snipes (2-4 2 runs), Nathan Crews (2-2, run) Justin Shearin (2-2), Chase Watson (1-3), Tyler Fox (1-3)

Person Started off flat, heck we havent't played in a week, but we played well enought to win. We played solid defense, got some timely hits and had good pitching from Peed and Hunter Wrenn. Jeremy did well considering heis off speed stuff wasn't very effective tonight. Hunter came in and pitched well facing 5 batters with 3 K's, 1 BB and a ground out. Web is s much improved team. They hit the ball well and are well coached. It doesnt get any easier as we face South Granville on Friday. We will have to play extremely well to win this one on Friday, against a very good team.

    Records:
    Person 1-1
    Webb 2-1

    Horrible Statistician

Sorry Dbacks20, I'm terrible with stats. Don't bet the house on any of the below.

Smith started for Butler and pitched well. Pope started for NM and did a fine job until the 5th inning. In the 5th inning, Butler scored six runs (not all off of Pope) and it seemed like all Butler batters were reaching base one way or another. Robinson came in to finish for Butler and worked the corners nicely. A fielding error or two for both teams and several BB / HBP, again both teams. I believe Smith had several hits including a double, Tewell had (2) BB and a double, and Crump had a couple of hits. I’m sure that there are many things I am forgetting, but I think I did get the score correct!

    CVAC Shocker

    Maiden 6 Fred T Foard 5

    WOW!

Once again, Foard's cold bats, inconsistant pitching, and defense let the Tigers down. Even though Maiden hitters struck out 16 times, they were able to put together a few timely hits. Three Maiden pitchers limited Foard to six hits including another home run by Trent Rothlin. Chad Rothlin (8 Ks) pitched well in relief of losing pitcher Aaron King (8 Ks).

Next up for the Tigers (2-2, 0-1) will be a trip to Bandys on Friday. Congratulations to Maiden and Coach Ellis on their first win of the season.
