West Forsyth defeats East Forsyth 6-0 in a semi-final battle of the Winston-Salem/forsyth County tournament. West was led the a 3 hit shutout by Wesley McBride. Wes threw a complete game with some solid Titan defense. Led by Chris Sanders (2 run HR and 3 rbi's) and Greg Holt 2-3 rbi, Sammy Lucas 2B, West cruised after the 4th inning. Ryan Dull threw for East Forsyth. East hit some long balls but were run down by the Titans outfielders. West will play Mount Tabor tomorrow night at 7 pm at North Forsyth. ( what has happened to North Forsyth's field? It is in terrible shape in both the infield and the outfield. Could be a Michael Velton and Greg Holt pitching matchup. Both are coming off Friday night complete game starts (Velton 8 innings) so may not see them very long.

Also wanted to congratulate Tyler Hanover on his commitment to LSU. College guys- You need to look at Kenny Swab- will make a great addition to any program

    Person 18, Southern Durham 1 (5)

Person jumped out and scored often in this 5 inning affair.
Hunter Wrenn pitched 4 innings, allowed 1 run on 1 hit with 10 K's and 2 BB. Several players had multiple hits here... Southern is in a rebuilding phase and have a mighty young team.

Person has a big PAC-6 game on Friday against Jordan (Durham) at 7:00 in Roxboro.

    Records:
    Person 6-3 (3-1)
    S. Durham 1-4 (1-4)

Outside of stats, can someone give us details of the game? It appears that the Sabres players have some fight in them. Congratulations for a huge win!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

The left hander for S. brunswick is Ryan Waldrep. He moved to Southport from Rocky Mount. As a soph. last yr. at RM he pitched about 41 innings and finished with a .15 era. Hope he's back in RM for his senior yr.
