Washington from the east should get to raleigh behind Charity Watson , one of the best we faced last summer and fall but I dont think they have enough bats to win it all this year . Harnett Central didn't lose much last year and the last time I talked to Lauren Taylor She had Virginia and NC State talking to her , she beat SWR 2-0 in raleigh last year but during TB the Rage faced her a couple more times and hit her pretty good in beating her Heat team . KM still has Childers but lost an awfull lot of starters so I dont know if they will have enough experience to get past Enka . And my personal favorite SWR with the terrific trio rotateing mound time backed by super D and supported by big bats . Thats my prediction for the 3A

but then again I only have one team left in my office pool final four ncaa basketball bracket

    pack

Newspapers have reported LHP Lauren Taylor of Harnett Central to NCSU softball.

She's also a great basketball player about 25 ppg , but don't know if that's also being pursued.

    3A

Watson is no doubt one of the best. Good hitters will hit her based entirely on her pitch selection. Inside fast, riseball fast, then off the plate works alot but not always. She's tough to say the least. Lauren Taylor is a good pitcher but, i'm sorry, not in the same category as Watson. HC has a stud SS Toni Ann Williford who will keep the offense alive. Heather Nobles can dish it out as well. 3A is confusing. Southern Alamance is strong too. Looks like a showdown. KM is not going away!

So who are you saying is a better pitcher? Watson or Taylor? I haven't seen either pitch, but was wondering since Taylor is reportedly headed to NCSU - is she going for her pitching ability?

    scholly? not sure

Heard this but not confirmed: Lauren Taylor's status may be as an invited walk-on at State. Also heard that she & her family were long-time Wolfpack fans, so she really wanted to attend college at NCSU.

    Again, all this is unconfirmed.

I've seen them pitch. Lauren is an athlete. She should, well in my humble opinion, play college basketball. She's a scorer. As for softball, she probably would rock the house in a lesser program than D-1 NCSU. I hope i'm wrong. As for Charity Watson, she's the heat! I hope she gets stronger and plays in Raleigh. Both are cool kids. I sincerely wish both of these fine young ladies the best.

hey tarheel27, what difference does it make? if taylor goes to NCSU to pitch, hit, or keep stats, as long as she's happy it makes sense to me. ok, ok, ok, lets jump ahead here! i'm a tarheel, you know ABC, and all that stuff. if you are ,bring on some posts for us! meanwhile recognize that this mother is politely, if i may, saying to you to be smooth in your posts and don't ever, ever, ever, mess with the guru! welcome. play safe
